1. How do I obtain a real estate license?
The first step in obtaining a real estate license is to complete the First Year Sales course. This course fulfills the 60-hour state requirement, and prepares the student for the licensing exam.

2. What is the tuition for the Unit I-First Year Sales course?
The tuition for the Unit I- First Year Sales course is $475. This tuition includes: textbook, class notes, License Law book, and workbook.

3. Tell me more about the Pre-licensing examination.
The state examination costs $63 (prices subject to change). This exam tests the student's knowledge of terminology and real estate concepts that are covered in Unit I. The exams are offered at sites throughout the state, and at different times. The exam is given by appointment only. This examination is multiple choice and it consists of two separate sections.

4. Is broker or real estate company affiliation required in order to take Unit I?
The student can take the Unit I- First Year Sales course without broker affiliation. This gives the student the opportunity to interview with a variety of brokers prior to affiliation. In order to be licensed, the student must be affiliated with a broker/real estate company.
